The MP-600 with Fast Track technology is teeming with up to date modern advances. The CNC milled, plasma welded CORTECH™ face insert will deliver the maximum USGA allowable ball speed across the entire area of the face for explosive distance, according to Mizuno. What many golfers don’t realize is back in the 2007 their MP-600 driver was the first to have sliding weights in a channel at the rear of the sole to help compensate for a player’s slice or hook. Called the “Fast Track” system, this idea is joined in the JPX-850 model driver with two weight ports in the sole plus a hosel adjustable to. Mizuno, having not launched a driver in the UK for two years, are launching two later this year? The MP-600 and MX-560. The 460cc MP-600 (pictured) is aimed at the better player with a classic address look and neutral face angle. The most striking feature is its?Fast Track? System that allows you to reposition two 8g weights along a sl. The Mizuno MP-600 driver is a 460cc titanium driver engineered with 'Fast Track Technology.' This enables the golfer to configure the adjustable 8-gram weights to choose from 15 different ball flight settings. The club face is crafted with multiple thickness layers for maximum distance, and the oversized head is designed for more forgiveness.

What we say...
The Mizuno MP600 Driver can be adjusted to as many as 15 different weight settings to accomodate players with all types of swing tendencies; slice, hook etc
Mizuno sold out of the Mizuno MX-500 driver way back in January so the launch of this the Mizuno MP600 has been eagerly awaited. Mizuno engineers thought they had the MP600 golf club pretty much sorted over 18 months ago but refinements in the look and playability have taken some serious time to perfect.
Every ounce of Mizuno golf club making expertise has gone into making the Mizuno MP600 driver perfect for the decent player. It’s traditional pear shaped round head sits squares to the golf ball at address and with a weighting system which has 15 different settings its got the ability to let the “player” tailor the golf club to their own game to enhance golf ball flight and carry distance. The Mizuno MP600 head's a forgiving 460cc design with high moi and the fact the “Fast Track” weighting system is located low and deep means lots of the overall weight is situated to make the club super forgiving. You also get a choice of 10 different custom option shafts from Mizuno’s own design’s to the latest greatest Fujikura, Aldila, Grafalloy and UST shafts on the market.
Two eight gram weights, and six weight positions make up the golf club's weighting system, and everything is easily adjusted with a simple wrench which is included in the price of the golf club. Between the 15 weight positions golfers can expect to see a variation of 13 yards of difference in golf ball flight between maximum fade and ultimate draw settings. We like the way Mizuno has deciphered how weight being positioned in different areas actually effects the amount of spin you create. Meaning if you’re a high spin player you can reduce the amount of spin created at impact and in the process add extra yards to your carry distance. Which we reckon is the ultimate custom fitting tool when it comes to tailoring the club to your own game.
Mizuno are so confident of the system being better than others on the market their organising challenge days around the UK over the coming months to pit your own driver against theirs (with a Trackman launch monitor being judge!!) in a bid to convince you to buy one. So if your interested we suggest looking out for these, when the club hits the shops in Autumn.

We’re about 5 weeks away from Mizuno’s launch of it’s next generation Fast Track driver the new MP-630 here in Japan. This time around, Mizuno decided to release the new MP-58 and MP-68 irons outside of Japan first. These irons will also launch after the first week of November here in Japan along with the new MP-630 and become available for Mizuno Japan’s custom iron program.

The MP-630 will initally be available with Exsar MD-3 stock shaft before being available with Japan’s full offering of top shafts. The 460cc MP-630 will have 8.5 9.5 and 10.5* lofts and feature 2 x 5.5g adjustable tungsten weights in its Fast Track system. The driver features a forged Ti-4.5Al-2Mo-4V face paired with a precision cast Ti-6Al-4V body. The face appears shallower compared to the 1st generation MP-600 and as before the Fast Track system allows for fade or draw trajectories as well as a shift in the center of gravity that can also affect the amount of spin the driver will generate. Weights moved to the 1 and 10 position will create a lower trajectory shot for windy conditions while the weights in the 5 and 6 position will create higher launch and maximum carry.

At this point, it appears the Mizuno MP-630 driver won’t be released outside of Japan until some time in the new year and once we have more info we’ll definitely let you know!
